Privacy

What happens with your data on CueSensei — in plain words. Short version: almost nothing.

In short

No accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies, only anonymous page statistics. YouTube only loads when you click a video. Your drill scores stay in your browser.

Who is responsible

Sebastijan Kolenko, Slovenia — contact@cuesensei.com. CueSensei is a personal, non-commercial website run by one person.

When you visit the site

The site is hosted by Lovable. To deliver the pages and keep them secure, the hosting servers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request in short-lived server logs. This is based on my legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and tracking

CueSensei sets no cookies itself, uses no advertising tools and does not follow you across visits or other websites. There are no accounts and no newsletter. Simple visitor statistics (pages viewed, country, device type) are counted by Lovable, the site’s host, without cookies and without identifying you. The statistics are based on my legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data stored on your device

Your drill scores are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they survive a reload. They are never sent to us, and you can delete them with the Reset button or by clearing your browser data. If you tick “Always load YouTube videos on this device”, that choice is stored there too; untick it or clear your browser data to undo it.

YouTube videos

Videos are not loaded until you click “Load video”. Only then does your browser connect to YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.), which may set cookies and process your IP address under Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Loading a video is based on your consent, given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it by unticking “Always load” or clearing your browser data.

If you email me

I use your email address and message only to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), and delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

  • Access to the data about you
  • Correction or deletion
  • Restriction of or objection to processing
  • A complaint to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si (opens in a new tab))

To use any of these rights, write to contact@cuesensei.com.

Changes
