About
CueSensei is a free, non-commercial place to learn pool: lessons, the official rules in plain words, a rules quiz, tips and the pro game.
Why CueSensei
Good pool knowledge is scattered across old books, forum threads and hour-long videos. CueSensei is my attempt to put it in one clear path — short lessons you can take to the table, drills you can score, and the rules explained so you can make the call yourself. A sensei doesn’t do the work for you; it shows you why every shot has a reason.
How I work
My own words
Every lesson, rule summary and tip is written by me. I learn from books and experts, but never copy their text or diagrams.
Official rules, linked
Rules are explained in plain language from the official WPA Rules of Play, and every explanation links to its rule number.
Sources credited
News shows the headline and a one-line summary, and always links to the original story. Videos are shown with permission and credit their creators.
AI, clearly labelled
AI helps write the news summaries. Anything written by AI is labelled as such.
